• Cancellation Policy:

  • Cancellations made between 7 days and 24 hours prior to the scheduled booking time will incur a charge of 50% of the total booking value.

  • Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled booking time will be charged the full booking amount.
     

• Payment Terms:

  • Unless otherwise agreed upon in advance, a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total booking value is required to confirm the reservation. The remaining balance is due 7 days prior to the date of service.

  • Payment may be made via credit or debit card, or bank transfer.
     

• Additional Charges:

  • The Northern Chauffeur reserves the right to invoice for any additional expenses incurred beyond the original quotation, including but not limited to parking fees, toll charges, mileage beyond the agreed route, and additional service time.
     

• Client Responsibility for Timelines:

  • Clients are responsible for specifying accurate collection times and addresses to ensure adequate time for travel, particularly for airport check-ins or appointments. The Northern Chauffeur shall not be held liable for delays resulting in late arrivals, provided the driver and vehicle arrive at the designated pickup location at the agreed-upon time.
     

• Waiting Time Policy:

  • Passengers are expected to adhere to the scheduled collection time.

  • For collections from airports, rail stations, and seaports, a grace period of 30 minutes of waiting time is provided at no additional charge following the agreed collection time. After this grace period, or for pickups at other locations, waiting time will be charged at a rate of £50.00 per hour, billed in 15-minute increments.

  • The driver reserves the discretion to determine the length of waiting time before departure. Lateness on the part of passengers will not negate the full charge of the original quoted rate, and any applicable waiting time charges will be added.
     

• Luggage Responsibility:

  • Passengers are responsible for ensuring that the quantity and weight of luggage are appropriate for the booked vehicle.

  • If, in the driver's professional judgment, the size or weight of luggage exceeds the vehicle's capacity, The Northern Chauffeur reserves the right to refuse transport of such luggage. Alternative arrangements will be the sole responsibility and expense of the client.
     

• Liability for Personal Property:

  • The Northern Chauffeur accepts no liability for loss or damage to personal property, regardless of the cause.
     

• Force Majeure:

  • The Northern Chauffeur shall not be held responsible for late arrivals or delays caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to heavy traffic, accidents, roadwork, adverse weather conditions, tire punctures, or mechanical breakdowns.
     

• Passenger Conduct:

  • The Northern Chauffeur reserves the right to refuse service to passengers exhibiting unacceptable behavior, including but not limited to intoxication due to alcohol or drugs, and violent or aggressive conduct.

  • The driver's decision in such matters is final and may be exercised at any point during the service period. In such cases, the contract will be terminated immediately, and the full booking amount will remain payable.
     

• Soiling Charge:

  • A soiling charge of £300.00 will be levied against the client in the event that any passenger becomes ill within the vehicle.
     

• Prohibited Activities:

  • Smoking, eating, and drinking are strictly prohibited within the vehicle, with the exception of complimentary water provided by The Northern Chauffeur.

• Damage to Vehicle:

  • Any damage caused to the vehicle by a passenger will result in the client being charged the full cost of repairs.
     

• Authorized Drivers:

  • Only authorized drivers employed by The Northern Chauffeur are permitted to operate the company’s vehicles.
     

• Acceptance of Terms:

  • Confirmation of a booking constitutes full acceptance of these Terms and Conditions of Carriage.
